Thank you for 'my story.' It's only fair that I write one for you. Did you hear the one about the grasshopper, the box kite and the potato knish? No? Stay tuned...
You have given an oasis to this reader wandering alone in the desert parched with thirst, a gift of cool water, a shade tree for rest, and your sympatico hand to hold while waiting for rescue to a saner, more hospitable time in this world.. Hazak ve Amatz dear Etgar, Shira and your young IDF son, with heartfelt gratitude, love and hopes for a future of peace and happiest of welcome home embraces in the best of health very, very soon..
Ouch! You saw right through me. I read stories (ideally, stories by you) and I live less of my time in the world. But is that a good thing or a bad thing?
one less minute in the world, I could write forward, I could go on and on, but instead I am paralize, trappet in a blank sheet, in one less write in the world, so who cares, Is only less words, Is only a minute in a sheet
Sometimes I think that way, too. Sometimes I also feel like a character in a very old Chinese folktale. An old man sitting alone on top of a mountain, with the whole world flooded all around him. Only the fish have survived. So he tells fantastical stories to the fish, who don’t understand a word, or maybe he plays a bizarre music instrument, in the hope that maybe one day, a mermaid will come to find him.
And I thought that it was really only for me and wondered how you came to the conclusion that I needed to be saved…
Now I got it: we all need to be saved in this world: and the writer himself above all. Must admit that I remained intrigued and confused for quite some time.
Thank you for my story. It made an excellent life-preserver, and I wish it could have kept me afloat even longer. I see no reason why it shouldn't win you a Pushcart!
You trying to worry me? One of the hardest things a writer has to decide is where to start a story. If this is my story, where does it begin, never mind end?
Very much appreciated.

Would you please write another one and make it much longer?

I read the story you wrote for me twice and it worked both times.
And I thought that it was really only for me and wondered how you came to the conclusion that I needed to be saved…

What wonderful and unusual ideas you have!

Keeping his breath for him and for Benjamin
I see what you did there. Thank you!
Thanks for my minute alive out of the World. Landing back to Earth was also soft. Homeopathic crash is the very merit of this story
Like good parenting does
Thanks for caring, but I am lost in the translation
Logically. Probably. My C1 is 1 in Creative understanding

Why I read. Glad you’re still here🤗.
This is too sad.
