I have no doubt she would have known exactly what to do. The world needs more people like your mom. She and my mom would have been close, conspiring friends. How I miss that generation of humanity.

What a crazy world we live in. But a cute story nonetheless. Look after yourself.

Whenever I read of your mother I think of mine. She too knew what to do. I wrote about it in her memoir, The Linden Still Bloom, amazon kindle amzn.to/3xRLaFM

I love your emails. They’re so good: funny and honest and a useful insight into what’s happening. Thank you.

Thanks again Etgar. I so appreciate hearing from you and am sending you random thought waves during the week between the Tuesday posts. I can just about hear your mum cheering you on, and the bus driver in this instance too. I wish she were here too - we need someone to knock some sense into things (in the best possible way)… and she sounds like she could do it…

Take care Etgar

Amazing. Glad you made it. I'm in Florida awaiting a different kind of missile. Milton. faith and fear are odd bed fellows.

Yes, we have friends there who are steeling themselves for the next meteorological catastrophe. It is so scary and so tiresome. I fear for them.

You did alright without your mom. She would have been proud of you.
